The EM2 emissometer is used to measure <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/themacsebi.cluster011.ovh.net\/en\/thermal-emissivity-measurement\/\">emissivity<\/a><\/span> in the wide band (1 to 50 \u00b5m) and EM3 in the 8-12 \u00b5m band. Figure 2 shows the two emissometers used.\r\n\r\n<center><em><a href=\"http:\/\/themacsebi.cluster011.ovh.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/figure02.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"375\" height=\"266\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4714 img-responsive aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/themacsebi.cluster011.ovh.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/figure02.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/themacs-engineering.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/figure02.jpg 375w, https:\/\/themacs-engineering.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/figure02-300x213.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/a>\r\n<\/em><\/center><em>Figure 2: EM2 emissometer on the left and EM3 on the right <\/em>\r\n\r\n<strong>Results<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe spectral measurements were carried out with the FTIR-4300 from AGILENT. The advantage of these measurements is to check the ratio between broadband and narrowband <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/themacsebi.cluster011.ovh.net\/en\/thermal-emissivity-measurement\/\">emissivity<\/a> <\/span>measurements. These measurements also inform us about the nature of the coating and its possible pollution by a deposit (dust, grease, &#8230;).\r\n\r\nThe measurements were made on several identical axles. This redundancy made it possible to eliminate measurements by two screens. On the one hand by checking the standard deviation of the summations necessary for the measurement made with EM3.
